Plan to arrive at the bus stop 10 minutes prior to posted pickup times.
Your child has been assigned a morning and afternoon bus stop based upon your designated home address. If your child needs transportation to or from a different address, you must provide that alternate location to us in writing by completing the Student Transportation Request Form. The alternate stop address must be consistent every week as we cannot accommodate alternating weeks and you must allow 72 hours to process requests; you can expect to hear about route changes within 72 hours.
Please keep in mind that all pick-up and drop-off times are subject to change as we receive requests from parents for alternate bus stops. We ask students to be at their bus stop ten minutes prior to the designated time. We work hard to ensure that buses arrive no more than ten minutes before or after a designated time, but please know that the first few weeks of school there may be more variability as students adjust to their new routes and bus drivers get to know their students.
By policy, students are required to have an adult present at the bus stop at both pickup and drop off times. When there is no adult present at drop off, the student will be returned to school.
Student Transportation of America is seeking qualified individuals to work as professional School Bus Drivers as well as School Bus Monitors. Qualifications for School Bus Monitors include passing a background check, drug screen. Qualifications for School Bus Drivers include passing a background check, DOT physical exam, and a motor vehicle record check.
